Peterson of North Park University in Chicago provides a thoughtful account of Abraham Lincoln’s farm background and his life story, providing insight on how his connection to the land profoundly affected his life and presidency. It includes a foreword by internationally recognized Lincoln scholar, Dr. Wayne C. Temple, and over 35 images, including many by famed Lincoln illustrator, Lloyd Ostendorf.
